I tried recording a podcast in my office, during a lunch break.  The sound is different, a bit echoey.  Sorry.  I’m experimenting as doing the podcast at the weekend can take too much time out of family life.

The music this week is:

Highways Lines by Mindthings

Mindstalking by Lunascape

Le Dernier des Delires by Bertrand Priouzeau

Funambule by Spleen

C’est Si Bon and Je Respire by Bix Medard

This week’s soundbed music is Natural Shapes and Lights Strokes by Mindthings. The title music is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.

On a sunny Saturday 3 weeks ago I had a long skype chat with Louise and Bal of A Band Called Quinn.  This podcast features parts of that conversation and 6 songs.

You can listen to the band’s audio diary of their trip to Serbia, as played on the BBC’s Home Truths radio programme by clicking here.

The songs are:

  • Astronauts (acoustic)
  • The Next Time (from Inbetween Worlds)
  • Glimmer Song (from Sun Moon Stars)
  • Fluff Girl (acoustic)
  • The World Is Upside Down (from Luss)
  • Bullet Or a Friend (from Sun Moon Stars)

No podcast again April 5, 2009

Once again there is no podcast this weekend.  Yesterday I went to London for “podcrawl”, a pub-oriented meet up of various podcasters including Rowley (Dark Compass), Pete (pcpodcast), Pete (Suffolk ‘n Cool), Colin (Ourobouros), The Grumbler (Music and Mumblings) and several others.   Lots of beer was enjoyed, and Caroline had to pick me up at the station at about 11pm.

Today has been a slow day (I wonder why? – although to my surprise I was not hung over).  So I have not finished editing the conversation 2 weeks ago with Louise and Bal from A Band Called Quinn.  That will be next week’s podcast.
