I really love some of the songs in this one, from the elegant simplicity of the opener, to the great ska sounds of the last band …

900 Miles, by Bethany & Rufus

The Mistake by Christophe Marc

Potential Criminal by Clara Bellino

Trespasser by HuDost

Victoria and Shots and Pills by Rude City Riot

And an important announcement.  Please give me your thoughts and feedback.

This podcast is hosted by Libsyn (www.libsyn.com).  Through arrangements with the Association of Music Podcasting, for the last 3 years I have had that hosting free.  That has been very valuable support: I do not make a single penny from the podcast and would otherwise have spent several hundred dollars over the years.

Libsyn and AMP have been discussing the relationship, and not surprisingly Libsyn would like something in return.

This is likely to mean that before long you will hear advertising inserted automatically by Libsyn at either end of the podcast, ie for 10 to 15 seconds before the start, and longer (up to 1 minute) after the end.  Everything from the AMP chimes and “… when I’m not … I like to listen to electrical language” to the closing music and “powered by Libsyn” at the end will be under my total control with no advertising within the main body of the podcast.

Please tell me your views: lectriclingo@gmail.com.  I really value your opinions

This week’s soundbed music is Issues and Subscriptions and Rachel Dreams  by Map. The title music is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.

  1. Hi Gabor,
Really liked the song by Christophe Marc, I’ve just downloaded his stuff from Jamendo. Another singer-songwriter top find after Robin Grey!
